School Statistics

If you use STARS 4 Schools markbooks for tracking you'll soon have a wealth of data that can deliver instant key statistics such as:

School statistics: whole-school data
  • Percentage of students with 5+ A*-C grades at GCSE, with or without English and Maths. (Note that STARS 4 Schools takes into account contributions from vocational courses too!)
  • Percentage of students achieving 2, 3, 4 levels of progress in English and Maths from KS2/3.
  • Percentage of students achieving level 5 or better in English and Maths at KS3.
School statistics: subject statistics

You also automatically get grade breakdowns for each department and subject, plus reports such as:

  • Students predicted to get 4 A*-C grades at GCSE but a D in English.

The STARS 4 Schools Data Explorer - due in January 2010 - allows you to "slice and dice" data, e.g. to explore attainment versus eligibility for free school meals.

When your exam results are in, STARS 4 Schools will even do your APS/Capped APS calculation for you too.

We are adding support for additional statistics every week, and listen to the schools using STARS 4 Schools to deliver the statistics they need as local authority and central government requirements change.
